Dick Pirozzolo, APR and member of the PRSA Counselors Academy. Dick has trained and led seminars for high tech managers, energy and oil executives and engineers from companies in the US, Kazakhstan and Vietnam.
He is founder Principal of Pirozzolo Company Public Relations, where he offers public relations, marketing communication, and media placement services to corporations and government agencies in Japan, Vietnam, Germany, Great Britain, and Israel as well as the US. Working for Vietnam Government leaders, he played a prominent role in fostering trade and normalizing relations between the US and Vietnam. He served WBZ-TV, Boston, as public relations advisor and was a daily newspaper reporter with the Worcester Telegram. Dick has arranged publicity for a spectrum of industries including technology, the Internet, IT systems, homebuilding, television broadcasting, food and institutional and retail financial services.
Following the events of 9/11, Dick was named media liaison for industry talks in New York on new security measures and technology. He has generated publicity in BusinessWeek, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and CBS Evening News. His byline has appeared in The Affluent Page, a national lifestyle magazine, The Boston Herald, Yankee, and the Washington Times. He is author of five nonfiction books on the building industry.

Michael Salius, APR, is a former president of Connecticut Valley Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and delegate to the national organization. He has been recognized as the PR practitioner of the year in Connecticut. Since 1990, his firm, Salius Communications, has been meeting the strategic communications needs of national, regional and local clients in the following sectors: financial services, managed care, health care, energy, government, and nonprofit/foundation. Mike Salius, owner and president, started the firm after a dozen years in the communications divisions of two FORTUNE 500 corporations.
Mike’s last corporate position was as the national director of advertising and public relations for Connecticut Mutual (now Mass Mutual). He has helped train CEOs, senior managers and PR executives from several sectors on how to handle media interviews and gain greater and more meaningful coverage by the media.
Among his many accomplishment, Mike helped Oprah and her company Harpo Productions orchestrate a walkathon to promote healthy life styles among her fans. It was one of the largest events of its kind to be held in Connecticut, stimulated extensive media coverage and served as a prototype for similar events in Chicago and Los Angeles.
He also has helped several insurance, financial services, energy, and educational organizations navigate their way crisis situations.
